Since 2008, ReKult, has joined and is actively involved in the civil society initiative A Soul for Europe.
The civil society initiative “A Soul for Europe” is building an international network and seeking to influence cities and regions, EU member countries and neighbouring ones, the worlds of culture and business, as well as European policy-makers. The initiative’s work focuses on harnes Europe’s cultural strengths more efficiently than in the past. All fields of policy beyond the cultural sector, from social to foreign affairs, must develop a cultural component. Culture is not something for cultural players alone.
Rekult is, currently, the only Italian member of the A Soul for Europe Strategy Group and we take part in various of its Working Groups. In particular, ReKult is working to implement the A Soul for Europe initiative in Italy through various activities.
