In the CUT IT UP workshop we apply the subcultural philosophy of zinemaking to create a video that tells YOUR STORY YOUR WAY. Got something personal you wanna tell? Travel stories, personal dramas, crazy family, political rants, a plea for the environment, your deepest darkest secret? Make it here. CUT IT UP has a Do-It-Yourself approach to filmmaking, using alternative filming and editing techniques to create fresh, raw and confrontational videos that are maybe explicit, but always independent. Over 3 days develop your story in a storyboard zine, learn simple avant-garde filmmaking techniques, film and edit your story and come away at the end with a video and a zine.
